Espoir Society has been sponsoring local schools in Zimbabwe, Africa with kids athletic gear and clothing since the summer of 2017! Each year, our efforts seek these various sports equipment and clothing donations such as running shoes and shorts, and has also expanded to include medical supplies!

The athletic gear we have sent over for the past two years has been well received, as is seen in the picture below! In continuation with our theme of supporting the global involvement of children in sports, we will continue to seek items from, but not limited to this list:

Athletic Clothing

Sport Footwear

Sport Equipment (balls, cones, whistles, nets etc)

Leisure Clothing

Non-sport Footwear

The recent initiative of sending medical equipment to clinics in Zimbabwe derives from Cyclone Idai, which tragically impacted many communities in Southern Africa.

This deadly tropical storm took thousands of lives and left many others injured in March 2019. Especially affected areas include regions in Malawi, Mozambique and Zimbabwe.

Espoir Society has partnered with Zimlegends Trust to support clinics and hospitals in the city of Chimanimani to support survivors of the cyclone as well as the general population. Specifically, we are in pursuit of items that are included in but not limited to this list:

  • syringes
  • antibiotics
  • internationally approved pharmaceuticals
  • scalpels
  • bandages
  • gloves
  • scissors
  • adhesive tape
  • cotton balls
  • antiseptic solution
  • eye pads
  • soap

We are also looking for funds with which we can use to send a large shipment of items overseas.

Espoir Society is grateful to our supporters who make this effort possible, and appreciate all donations!
